What follows serves that same purpose -- which we are so accustomed to -- of that legal -- unreadable -- comprehensive boilerplate that ends with clicking "I accept," and serves to explicitly delimit what use we may make of software and to annoyingly prompt our acknowlegement of the software maker's intellectual property rights invested in what we may then be loading into our computers (which brings up the somewhat interesting notion that the scripts of plays are instruction data of a sort for the -- infinitely varied -- processing power of creative teams, if you will, of dramaturgical CPUs). Be that as it may, in all, since I trust you get the point and accept, you need read no further.

Yep, that's right. Folks -- no matter what the lawyers might try to tell you -- it ain't rocket science: them that wrighted it, owns it. My works are my intellectual property. You know that. But I belabor the point here anyway.

The plays and other works that can be accessed/copied/downloaded from this site are protected from unauthorized use by United States copyright laws and other applicable national laws and international agreements that safeguard the rights of authors with respect to their literary works/intellectual property.

The lawyers, rightly, can tell all about the many forms of theft of intellectual property, and how all such thieving misuse of others' creative work violates important property rights.

The works posted on this site remain the property of their author. The use authorized for them by this agreement is that of personal perusal; these works are provided here to the site visitor for hers, his, and others' reading use only. Paper copies can be made, but under no circumstances sold, for use in rehearsals, workshops, classes, etc. These works are published here for users' reading use only. All rights, for all and any other uses -- in particular, production, adaptation, etc. -- of these works, remain reserved.

In accepting this End User Copyright Acknowledgement, the user -- and users who may not have gotten copies of these works directly from this site -- acknowledge that these works are the property of their author and agree that the only use authorized for them under this agreement is that of personal perusal.
